It’s alright I guess, but I think I’ma stick with gin and tonic for now.

Failsafe mixed drink every man should be drinking:
1) Mix bourbon with nothing in a glass.
2) Drink glass fast or slow.
3) Repeat as necessary.

I’m a big fan of Jameson Black Label. When it’s hot and sticky out though, nothing’s quite as refreshing as a gin and tonic or a Moscow mule.

For any reason in particular? Or just because it’s not a good drink?

Mules are great with Hendricks too.

one part orange juice, one part vodka, one ice cube = screwdriver

Screwdriver? That’s a Breakfast drink. Nobody drinks Bloody Marys or Screwdrivers after Lunch. C’mon man!

Oh! I got this. When it’s hot out I put a couple ice cubes in the bourbon (or whiskey! I’m no snob!). I may also be a recovering alcoholic.

I find the general insistence that certain foods belong exclusively to certain parts of the day tiresome.
Additionally, don’t make a habit of starting my day with alcohol.

Whiskey on the rocks isn’t terrible, but I definitely prefer mine neat. I really like a good gin and tonic though, so I don’t find the need to ice my whiskey anyway.

Most people go 1:2 or 1:4 with a decent amount of ice, but I could see the merits of raising the vodka-to-oj ratio. It would certainly mitigate the feeling that I’m hiding liquor in my orange juice.

Vodka isn’t a food. I don’t care what the Polish side of my family says.
Breakfast for dinner is a blessing!
Only on weekends, and it’s more a Brunch thing. Coffee always comes first.

Make it with vanilla vodka next time. So much better. (I call it a Shourdriver, because as far as I know, I invented it.)

Screw drivers are only good if you have fresh squeezed OJ. Otherwise the balance is off and they taste too boozy

I’m not a fan of drinks that pretend they’re not alcohol, so maybe that’s the issue.

Mixed reasonably you'll always know it has vodka. It just has balance and won't taste sour and funky
